We rarely give ourselves the opportunity to do the extraordinary things that will change our lives. The boldness of leaping into boudoir is helping you lean into saying, “YES”, to yourself!
2- Because it strengthens the relationship with self. The boudoir experience is helping create new neural pathways towards kind and accepting thoughts about yourself. These acts propel you towards your personal empowerment and the self-love that you deserve.
3-Because creative expression sparks joy! Having this experience is uplifting and so good for our well-being. It’s PHOTOGRAPHIC HEALING in a playful yet meaningful way for our clients.

Our Boudoir sessions are an energy shift for all of our clients—This is a day where you get to feel total CONFIDENCE as you move through the vulnerability of doing something out of your comfort zone, and stepping into being your liberated and authentic self. For this reason our studio is a SAFE HAVEN and will continue to be a judgement free, inclusive space.
This experience is an opportunity to take time away just for yourself. If you’re TIRED of hustle culture, this is the space for you! You get to show up and feel pampered, allowing yourself to slow down from the rush of life.
These sessions are all about HONORING yourself! We get dopamine and serotonin flowing as you are posing, and having fun in your physical experience—This means you get to be truly PRESENT in your body! How often do most of us do that on a regular basis??
In the deepest sense, Boudoir with RMP helps all of our clients to start healing body image biases they’ve experienced maybe their whole life. They get to really SEE themselves from a whole new perspective, and start looking at themselves with more kindness. Our photographer Ria acts as a guide to help you experience this level of embodiment.
Not only that—The ripple effects that continue after your session are priceless. When you access that confidence in your body during your session, it makes it WORLDS easier to access the same confidence in your day to day life afterwards.

what to expect
How Do Boudoir Sessions Work?
The whole process comes down to four steps, and we’ll be with you the whole way through so you’re never left guessing about what to expect!

When you inquire, we will send you an email going over the details and a link book your session. You also have the option to schedule an initial phone to answer any questions before booking your session.
After your session is booked, you’ll receive the RMP Boudoir Prep Guide to support you with pre-session mindset, wardrobe ideas, as well as a questionnaire that helps us get to know you! Communication is key in collaborating for your dream session!

Consultations are held via Zoom or phone call within 30-60 days after you book your session. This is our time to talk through prepping for your session so you know exactly what to expect and feel excited for the experience!
We’ll also go over your pre-payment plan or minimum purchase so we can plan your session around what art pieces or bonuses interest you.

The part you’ve been waiting for! You’ll have your session at our studio in Walpole, MA. Sessions start with pampering and relaxation, and crescendo into a high energy celebration of you!
Plan for about 6 hours total for the full experience, including viewing your gorgeous new images.

We don’t make you wait to see your new Boudoir photos! The same day as your session, you’ll get to see them on the big screen and place your order.
This is your time to celebrate how far you’ve come and the fears you’ve busted through!
At this step in the process, you’ll also choose which images you want to take home with you, and what Art pieces you want to order so you can enjoy them for years to come. After your order is placed, we’ll ship it to your door within 2 weeks!

There is a Session Fee of $650 to book a date for the The Boudoir Experience. This includes:

A liberating experience that you’ll never forget!
On average our clients invest around $3,500 into their boudoir experience after their collection has been selected.
However! We do have many who just want to dip their toes into their session first and try it out before they jump into one of our larger collections. If you're wanting something smaller, our digital collections start at only $1,500.
The minimum investment is $1,500 after the session fee. Financing is available with pre-session payment plans through our studio or PayPal Credit, which offers 0% interest for 6 months. Collections are paid in full or by beginning your pre-session payment plan within the first 30 days after booking.

Be prepared to block off your calendar for hours of self-care and personal empowerment!
The Boudoir experience usually lasts from 8-1pm or longer depending on how many outfits and set changes. This includes your hair & makeup time, photo session time, and post-session Viewing & Ordering Appointment.
In order to have the most relaxed session experience possible, we recommend taking the day off work and arranging for childcare as needed.

No worries! You can still have a very empowering and transformational experience that works for your budget!
Most of our clients pay for their sessions via debit or credit card, or by PayPal Credit, which offers 0% interest for 12 months.
We also offer custom pre-payment plans, and we will design a plan for you according to your comfort level and how far out you’d like to plan ahead.

We are located at 75 West St, Walpole, MA. We’re conveniently right off of Walpole, MA center in a private second floor studio.
Parking is free for all our clients and we are less than 5 minutes walking distance from the MBTA Commuter Rail!

Yes! We have a stellar team of stylists that do both hair and makeup. If you would like false lashes for your session, our stylists always offer lashes as well.

Your photographer will be Ria, and you’ll have one of our all-star stylists doing your hair and makeup before your session. Your stylist will also act as a photo assistant! During every session, it’s just us three!
You can learn more about our dream team here!
Our studio is a private space with a private restroom as well. This means no other people walking through the space at any time during your session, and you also won’t have to walk through any other shared spaces to change outfits or use the restroom.

We will walk you through all the posing!! This is the fun part, and when we feel most present in our bodies! All of our clients are pretty much never in front of the camera, so we understand that posing is most people’s concern.
We do all the posing with you so you never have to feel awkward or confused about what to do. It’s a pretty fun time with lots of laughs!

We offer inspiration in our Prep Guide, and will ask you to fill out a questionnaire so that we can get to know you and guide you with outfits according to your style.
We have a small wardrobe available at our Studio, but most bring what they are thinking about wearing and we help narrow down your options upon arrival.
The Studio is a judgment-free zone where you’ll feel liberated in your dream outfits!! Wear what you feel empowered in. The more outrageously you, the better!!!

You will see your images the day of your session so that you don’t have to sit and wonder how they came out!! After your session, we will take a short break, then jump right into your Viewing & Ordering Appointment at our Studio to see your photos. EXCITING!!!

All images shown during the Viewing & Ordering Appointment are lightly edited, but deeper edits on purchased photos are done to your discretion. We will discuss how edited you would like your photos to be.
For example, some love the super smooth skin look, while others like to see a little texture, or some feel empowered showcasing their scars or cellulite while others like these to be smoothed out.

IT’S UP TO YOU!!! We only share what you feel comfortable with!!! Many allow certain photos to be shared in our private Facebook group, Ria MacKenzie Photography-Empowerment Group.
Others feel comfortable sharing on social media outlets like Instagram or this website, and some want all their photos private. Sharing your images publicly is never a requirement!

There are so many options! We have a whole Art menu for you to choose from, including Prints and glass Print Boxes, Albums, Wall Art, Diamond Blocks, and more.
When you choose to print your images, it means you get to continue enjoying the feelings and memories of your personal transformation long after the session experience is over.

No friends or partners may attend client sessions or Viewing & Ordering Appointments. You can think of this experience as a day just for YOU, and we promise you won’t be missing out by not having a friend or partner with you.
Our clients always say that after they arrive for their session, they quickly feel very comfortable with our whole team. Rest assured that you can have a fun and meaningful experience even without any guests with you at your session!
